A SOUTHERN-ONTARIO ORIGINAL

Our extraordinary vistas are essential to the unique golfing experience at Crosswinds. The course offers the most striking views of the Niagara Escarpment’s rugged cliffs, including Rattlesnake Point and Mount Nemo Conservation Parks, bordering the course to the north and south.

Imagine starting your round on our par-4 Hole #1. What awaits you is a challenge that’s perfectly tailored to your passion for golf. Love to golf early in the day? Morning sunshine burns off the fairway’s silver dew, and the mist over our course’s first water feature hints at the day’s first breeze. Are you a late-day golfer? Bring your ground game and accuracy. Our namesake ever-changing escarpment crosswinds and dappled late-afternoon shadows will be waiting to test you.

Don’t let our course’s sheer beauty and panoramic vistas distract you from the challenge of our signature par-3 Hole #5  – “The Island Green”. The unique water feature on this hole is just one of eight that you’ll find on our course.

Our course was thoughtfully designed to make the most of the interplay of natural terrain and water. Careful maintenance overlays an ideal golfing landscape. “Mother Nature had been working for thousands of years before we started,” says our course designer, Robert Stevens.

Crosswinds welcomes golf lovers from Burlington and throughout the GTA seeking a truly satisfying day of play in a tranquil, nature-inspired setting. It’s unforgettable golf, with the friendliest hospitality and impeccable amenities.

OUR COURSE REWARDS ACCURACY OVER LENGTH

Eight water-feature ponds and more than 60 white sand bunkers are strategically placed to challenge your shot and club selections. Our well-maintained bentgrass greens putt true, with enough undulation to make reading them and judging speed your top priorities.

Our course tends to reward accuracy over length, as each shot sets up the next. Our layout is designed to offer you the degree of challenge you desire, while still being a truly enjoyable experience for even occasional golfers.
